Young Ideas for Turin Net Climate Neutral City – Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund Program
The City of Turin, as part of its commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2030 (Mission Cities), has decided to join the second round of the Youth Climate Action Fund – a program by the philanthropic foundation Bloomberg Philanthropies. This initiative will provide technical assistance and funding to 90 cities across 5 continents, mobilizing tens of thousands of young people aged 15 to 24 to design and implement solutions to tackle climate change.
As part of this program, the City of Turin will allocate a total of €81,600, received from Rockefeller Philanthropies Advisor, to be distributed in the form of micro-grants ranging from a minimum of €960 to a maximum of €4,790, supporting youth-led climate initiatives.
The goal of the initiative is to encourage youth participation in climate action policies and to foster dialogue, collaboration, and trust in public administration—one that not only listens but also works to implement concrete youth-driven projects.
The deadline for submitting the required documentation is set for April 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
For more information and to download all the necessary documentation, please refer to the Public Notice on the City of Turin's website at this link.
