ALPI Design Awards
ALPI Design Awards is the international design award for mountain-related projects, conceived and organized by the ALPI+MILANO Association in partnership with the magazine **l'ARCA International**, which starting from 2025, will annually recognize designers, companies, and students who develop projects, products, and services for the sustainability and innovation of mountain environments, following the creative process typical of the design world.
The goal of the award is to become an international reference point on mountain-related themes as an experimental domain for innovative and sustainable behaviors, actions, and productions, as well as the highest recognition for research and production in all areas of project, product, and service aimed at mountain communities, activities, and environments.
The ALPI Design Awards, which has received the patronage of important institutions and associations involved in mountain and design-related activities, will thus be the final act of a multidisciplinary selection process of project excellence in and for national and international mountain territories.
Three types of awards will be assigned by the ALPI Design Awards, including one exclusively for university students. Specifically:

- ALPI Design Awards “Gran Becca” for designers, planners, institutions, and companies with their projects, products, and services judged excellent in the Award’s Categories and Subcategories;
- ALPI Design Awards “Gran Becca d’Oro” for Lifetime Achievement for an iconic project, product, or service for the mountains;
- “ALPI A+M Manlio Armellini” for projects, products, and services by designers under 30, resulting from research activities of national and international universities and specialized institutions. University students are invited to participate for free with their projects and proposals.
