The Division supervises and manages the activities necessary for the implementation of international mobility within the framework of major EU, national, and University programs, ensuring coordination with other University Offices. It supports and collaborates with the Governance and with the Director of the "Study Center for the coordination of incoming and outgoing internationalization activities for students and faculty" in study and analysis activities related to the implementation of the University’s Internationalization Strategy. This includes a particular focus on outgoing and incoming mobility actions for both students and academic and administrative staff. The Division collaborates with the STUDI Department for the development of activities in the international field.
Student Mobility Unit
The Unit manages the implementation of international mobility to and from European and non-European institutions within the framework of externally, nationally, and university-funded programs. Specifically, the Unit supervises the selection process and all activities related to the implementation of outgoing mobility periods for study and traineeships, in collaboration with other university administrative units, covering all phases: before departure, during the mobility period, and upon return.The Unit is responsible for negotiating and managing inter-institutional bilateral agreements within the Erasmus+ KA131 and KA171 programs, in coordination with the International Cooperation and Relations Division. The Unit maintains relations with the National Erasmus+ Agency for the implementation and monitoring of mobility activities for students, faculty, and technical-administrative staff.The Unit also manages the nomination process for incoming mobility students, their academic careers, and—together with the STUDI Department—the provision of student servives and administrative procedures related to mobility. The Unit manages funds allocated for student mobility (study and traineeships), including financial reporting, in coordination with the Budget and Management Staff Unit and the Innovative Mobility Projects Unit. In addition, the Unit supervises incoming and outgoing student mobility within double degree programs, manages students involved in Special Mobility Programs funded through external and university sources, and supports the digitalization of Erasmus+ mobility procedures.

Innovative Mobility Projects Unit
The Unit develops and manages short-term innovative international mobility programs and mobility initiatives for incoming and outgoing staff. Specifically, it handles the promotion, management, and financial reporting of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP); manages the "Thesis Abroad" project in all its phases; develops and supervises targeted mobility initiatives abroad for PhD students, in coordination with other University administrative Offices.It also coordinates and promotes all activities related to the implementation of incoming and outgoing mobility periods for academic and technical-administrative staff, in collaboration with other University administrative Offices, across all phases.The Unit manages the funds allocated for staff mobility and supervises their financial reporting in coordination with the Budget and Management Staff Unit and the Student Mobility Unit for relevant aspects. The Unit ensures the management of activities related to the implementation of outgoing mobility for training and teaching by academic and research staff. Furthermore, the Unit collaborates with the PEPS Department in defining the educational and organizational plan for the implementation of outgoing mobility periods for training of technical, administrative, and library staff, and supervises their management.
