Salaries, Social Security and Tax Division

This Division is in charge of the accounting and payment of salaries and fringe benefits to employees, staff with other types of employment contracts, scholarship holders (student workers, research grant recipients) and research fellows.Staff in this division deal with social security and tax obligations and provides advice on salaries matters. Staff in this division handle the social security treatment of the University staff and are in charge of relations with the Italian income revenue authority and the Italian National SocialSecurity Institute (INPS) by providing assistance to the University entities in the management of tax and salary accounting processes. They support the Board of Auditors in reporting activities.They are in charge of fulfilling the tax obligations related to institutional and commercial activities and drafts social security and tax declarations.

Tax Treatments Unit

The Unit handles tax support and checks the registrations made by PoliTo users. Staff manage Politecnico's tax drawer and relations with the Italian income revenue authority, deal with the overall document archiving of EU and Non-EU invoices, and are in charge of reporting activities. They manage the annual declarations and the payment of the related taxes. They provide guidance in tax matters to all University entities.

Workers' Salaries and Payroll Unit

Head of Unit

The Unit handles salaries, as well as fringe benefits of employees (and non-exempt grant-holders, doctoral candidates and scholarship holders) and deals with social security and tax contributions, supplementary pensions, health insurance and other regulatory fulfilments (770, DMA, etc.).It provides support both the tax assistance service for employees offered and the Academic Departments and Central Administration in tax matters.

This Unit verifies requirements verification, calculation of amounts, severance pay, inclusion of the years of university studies in the calculation of retirement benefits, and PhD Programmes and other services to be provided. It manages the employee's settlement processes (severance pay) and the correct entry and certification in the INPS insurance position, including the recovery of data on services rendered at other Universities, Schools or Public Bodies.
