Deputy Head

Mission

The PIFIC Department, in synergy with the Director-General, is in charge of planning, management and control of the economic and financial aspects of the University's Budget, as well as of the management of the asset and liability cycles; this task is performed by supervising tax, economic and social security aspects, including the settlement and payment of salaries to employees and staff with other types of employment contracts as well as the social security treatment of the whole University staff.It supervises the internal control and risk assessment systems, by supporting the Corruption Prevention and Transparency Officer.The Department monitors the University's Budget for the assessment of impacts and predictive surveys, supporting the General-Director and carrying out, together with the PEPS Department, personnel economic planning activities and analyses related to the management of incentives for Polito Staff.

Staff Unit Supporting the Board of Auditors and Information Systems

Head of Staff Unit (ad interim)

The Unit supports the Department’s Divisions, the Executive and the Secretariat of the Board of Auditors.It supports all Polito users for problems related to the U-GOV, CSA and MIF applications.The staff in this Unit supervises the preliminary analysis of issues to be submitted to the University bodies. The Unit deals with staff and document management system.They are in charge of purchasing goods and services for the Department's logistics and equipment needs, in agreement with the CCBI Department.
