Deputy Head

Mission

The PIFIC Department, in synergy with the Director-General, is in charge of planning, management and control of the economic and financial aspects of the University's Budget, as well as of the management of the asset and liability cycles; this task is performed by supervising tax, economic and social security aspects, including the settlement and payment of salaries to employees and staff with other types of employment contracts as well as the social security treatment of the whole University staff. In particular, it supervises the liaison activities with the Departmental Districts and Central Administration offices. The Department monitors the University's Budget for the assessment of impacts and predictive surveys, supporting the General-Director and carrying out a system of management indicators and management control in the economic-financial field. In synergy with the PEPS Department, it is responsible for personnel economic planning activities, analyses related to the management of the Accessory Fund, and fiscal support related to personnel welfare services. It supervises verification and control activities on ISEE certificates of facilities beneficiaries granted by the University.

Senior Domain Expert
He works to ensure compliance with duties related to checks on students and employees ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) certificates, with specific tasks for the following activities: monitoring and verification of control activities on ISEE certificates submitted by students and the implementation of the related verification processes; control activities on ISEE certificates monitoring submitted by employees who request special benefits and the related verification processes implementation. He collaborates in order to contribute to the uniformity of meaning and the application of the legislation to internal processes, in line with Director-General perspective.

Staff Unit Supporting the Board of Auditors and Information Systems

Head of Staff Unit (ad interim)

The Staff Unit supports the Department’s Divisions, the Executive and the Secretariat of the Board of Auditors. It supports all Polito users for problems related to the U-GOV, CSA and MIF applications. The staff in this Staff Unit supervise the preliminary analysis of issues to be submitted to the Collective Bodies. The Staff Unit deals with staff and document management system. They are in charge of purchasing goods and services for the Department.
