University Treasury, Current Assets and Financial Need Division

This Division handles the University treasury, simulations and programming of cash flows. It manages the University's current assets, by centralising the dispatch of collection and payment orders to the Polito Bank, default checks and traceability declarations.It supervises the bursary fund for urgent small office expenses It handles relations with the PoliTo bank for all the functions and tasks envisaged and liases with the MEF (Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance) and the Bank of Italy for the processes within its sphere of competence. Staff in this Division handle relations and provides support to the Board of Auditors and are in charge of reporting activities. The head of Division is appointed to conclude all University payments and collections’ procedures.

The Unit handles the drafting of Judicial Accounts to be forwarded to the Court of Auditors. It manages the bursar's fund, payments with the Administration's bursar's cash to support the Academic Departments, and handles Administration Academic Department’s credit cards. It is in charge of the centralized management of bursar's cash receipts received in cash, cheques or by POS. It manages sureties, security deposits, reports, custody and management of paper meal vouchers for guests.

The Unit is in charge of the University's current assets and financial needs management. Staff handle the University treasury, predict estimates on cash flows of the Academic Departments, issue payment orders for the Administration's accounting records and for business trips for the whole University. They handle salary flows by telematic means and are in charge of relations with MEF representatives as for University financial needs. Staff verifies non-compliance with the Italian income revenue authority. They deal with relations with the PoliTo Bank.
