Communication and Media Relations Division

The Division coordinates external and institutional communication at the University level to enhance the activities carried out by the missions, functions and objectives of the mandate. It also acts as a link with the individual Departments in order to enhance their peculiarities through coordinated communication and develop media plans for initiatives and projects. The Division handles traditional media relations (Web and Press Office), Social Media, the UX and UI of the website and institutional apps aimed at optimising communication functions, new projects and their impact.

The Unit manages and produces multimedia content for official University channels and platforms, including advertising campaigns on social networks, proposing new projects in order to influence the ever-evolving multiplicity of channels.

The Unit is in charge of several activities: media relations, drafting of press releases, organisation of press conferences, PoliTO press review. Staff in this Unit supervise the production of content for the University website and for the PoliFlash web magazine. The Unit ensures the management of communication on online and offline channels.

The Staff Unit provides institutional communication tools to enhance the results and impact of the University research and innovation towards all stakeholders at local, national and international level. It manages the maintenance of the Research pages of the University website; the culture dissemination and the scientific method of "Public Engagement"; the promotion of dialogue between researchers and society; the design and execution of specific actions for research and innovation communication; the support for the communication and dissemination of University strategic research projects both at national and international level; the national and international networking for good practices exchange of Public Engagement and research and innovation communication.
