EU Procurement Division

The Division manages procurement procedures concerning public works, services and supplies above the EU threshold, supports internal users in defining specific needs and identifying the purchasing strategy and procurement channels; the staff in this division draft the tender documentd and manages the tendering/procurement procedures up to contract stipulation. They support the University departments/divisions for administrative procedures aimed at the conclusion of public contracts other than tenders and concessions, as well as for procedures for procurement procedures concerning public works in which the University participates as an economic operator.

The Unit manages the phases related to the tendering procedures related to services, supplies and public works and supports internal users in the defining specific needs, identifying of the purchasing strategy and procurement channels; the staff in this unit draft the tender documents and manages the tendering/procurement procedures up to the conclusion of the contracts.Tenders above the threshold amount are included within this field of activities.They support the university departments/divisions in the conclusion of public contracts that are not governed by procurement regulations and are characterized by the need for transparency towards the market.

Public Contract Procurement Support Unit

The Unit supports the RUP (person responsible for the contracting procedure) during the execution phase, in particular with regard to contract amendments, the authorisation of subcontracts, the contestation of penalties and price revisions. It also supports University departments/divisions when participating in public procurement contract’s procedures in the capacity of economic operator. The Unit collaborates with the University Attorneys Office In cases of litigation concerning the public procurement contracts.
