Deputy Head

Mission

The Office is responsible for the professional management of the strategic planning/programming cycle, coordinating and supporting the related integrated programming processes and the subsequent phases of implementation and monitoring/evaluation, following an evidence-based decision-making approach. The implementation phases of the cycle are integrated through the oversight of core processes such as quality assurance, strategic performance, and effectiveness and efficiency analysis.Additionally, the Office supervises and coordinates all processes related to the evaluation of Research and Knowledge Valorisation, including for the VQR (Research Quality Assessment), while also supporting participation in dedicated international and national networks.

Senior Domain Expert Transversal Analysis

Senior Domain Expert
She supports the Officer in Staff in coordinating studies and analyses that involve other Departments, focusing on projects with a transversal impact on the University. Specifically, She supports the development of analyses related to students' employment trajectories and the career orientation of PhD candidates and researchers, of interest to the RIMIN Deparment.She assists in the evaluation processes carried out by the Office (VQR), with particular reference to funded research projects. In collaboration with the representatives in the Offices/Departements responsible for managing PNRR/PNC funding, She coordinates analysis activities to align targets, common to the programs, expected and achieved results, and the drafting of reports and/or documents.She also conducts transversal or thematic analyses for the Governing Bodies by collecting data related to PNRR/PNC from the relevant Departments/Offices.

Senior Domain Expert
He coordinates the integrated planning/programming processes (PSA, PIAO/Performance Plan, Action Plan) for which He connects with all the Offices ensuring full integration with the strategic dimension. In this context, He coordinates the drafting and monitoring process of the Integrated Plan of Activities and Organization in alignment with the Action Plan and the Strategic Plan of the University. It supervises the preparation and updating of the University’s Service Charter. He works in close collaboration with other Offices involved in specific fields to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency with reference to the Performance Cycle.

General Affairs Staff Unit

Head of Staff Unit (ad interim)

The Staff Unit provides cross-functional support to the Divisions and the STARQ Officer for the following activities. In the area of procurement and budget the Staff Unit is in charge of: management of the procurement of goods and Divisions in collaboration with the Divisions for domain-specific and content-related aspects; budgeting and financial planning for the Office with the support of the various Divisions; management and monitoring of the Office's budget; accounting records within the Office’s responsibility; processing of annual membership fees under the Office’s responsibility.In the administrative and institutional domain the Staff Unit is in charge of: personnel management; management of the Office’s secretarial activities; management of the digital protocol system; organizational support to the Office in the review process of practices to be submitted to Collegial Bodies; management of logistical and safety needs.
