Mission

The PhD Programmes Hub was established to support the Governing Bodies and the Departmental Districts in implementing policies for the development of PhD programmes, enhancing and strengthening synergies between the research and teaching components. The Hub promotes the attractiveness of PhD programmes, strengthens relationships with external entities, fosters internationalisation, and facilitates access to national and international funding in coordination with the INCAM Office.Through the continuous optimisation of processes, the Hub supervises, coordinates, and manages activities necessary for the establishment, activation, administration, and quality assurance of PhD programmes, including admission calls for applications. With a view to integration and skills enhancement, some functions related to certain PhD processes will be managed by Offices within the STUDI and RIMIN Departments, with which the Office maintains continuous coordination.The Office ensures close cooperation and exchange with the Departmental Districts, to which it provides the necessary advice and support.The Office hierarchically reports to the Director-General, with primary functional coordination with the STUDI Department for general support functions (budgeting, attendance management, etc.) and for opportunities to enhance PhD programmes and candidates within the areas of activity of the STUDI Department.The Office interacts with all Director-General Offices on matters related to their respective functions.

She organizes campaigns for the promotion of PoliTO PhD Programmes’ course catalogue offer in liaison with the support of the Relations with Companies Unit and with the support of the Communication, Identity and Valorisation Hub. It works in liaison with the PhD Programmes’ Collegi and the PhD School’s bodies to promote the PhD Programmes’ course catalogue offer identifying formats and the appropriate mix of communication initiatives.She liaises with the MultiMedia Hub in providing the necessary requirements for developing multimedia content with promotional value.

She manages the Quality Assurance procedures of PhD programmes, and liaises with the Academic Department Districts and the PhD Programmes’ Collegi for drafting of the self-assessment documents, as well as for the evaluation/inspection activities for national and international accreditations. She collaborates with the PQA, the CPD and the PROSIQ Department.
