The Unit handles the cross-functional management, administration and support processes required by the Department and its users, supervising: General Secretariat processes, personnel management (attendance management, intern recruitment, holidays planning, etc.); document management and computerised protocol; preliminary examination of files to be submitted to Collective bodies; administrative support to RUP and DEC in procurement procedures initiated by the Department; secretarial activities in support of the Executive of the Department; administrative and accounting processes of the Department, in conjunction with the PIFIC Department; purchasing goods and services in collaboration with the Department's Divisions and in conjunction with the AGACON Office in staff to the Director General; budget planning, management and monitoring with the support of the various Divisions; accounting entries for the Department; administrative management of inventory; acquisition, configuration and administrative management of mobile phone services. Analysis, control and reporting of consumption; life cycle processes of projects financed under the responsibility of the Department.
