Mission

The Office manages out-of-court and in-court litigation cases, University's credit recovery procedures, bankruptcy procedures (bankruptcy, composition with creditors, etc.) and provides legal advice on the basis of the Director-General directions to University administrative and departmental entities and supports them in the management of donations in favour of the University, as well. AVVO deals with the interpretation of the Statute, regulations and the law in force and manages the information to the University on new legislation and case law. It collaborates with the Transparency and Privacy anti-corruption group for the purposes of decisions to be taken by the Director General and the Corruption Prevention and Transparency Officer.In this Office the DPO, the Data Protection Officer of the University, who provides information and advice to Politecnico as Data Controller and Data Processor and in particular to Politecnico employees on the obligations of the GDPR and the laws on data processing.

The professional figure instructs and manages pre-litigation and litigation in civil service/public administration matters.

She supervises all issues related to the “access to documents” including civic access and the Freedom of Information Act - FOIA by acting as a contact person for collecting requests by liaising with the other university entities in charge of the preliminary investigation for the purposes of decisions to be taken by the DG and the RPCT; She provides support to the other university entities in the verification of substitute statements also by training Polito staff on the management of similar activities/procedures on the best practices to be shared.
