The Division manages institutional international relations, with particular attention to participation in University Networks and Alliances, and the reception of international delegations. It promotes international cooperation initiatives and supports other University Offices in the preparation and management of funded proposals in the fields of education and development cooperation. The Division is responsible for negotiating international agreements and supports the development of new international academic programs.Furthermore, in support of the University's strategy, the Division implements actions to attract international students, faculty, and staff, fostering an inclusive University that is recognized and recognizable at the global level.
International Projects and Cooperation unit
The Unit carries out the following activities: it provides guidance to Departments on international projects funded through calls in the field of education, promoting funding opportunities and supporting the preparation of proposals; it supports the submission of development cooperation projects; it drafts proposals and manages projects and initiatives for international cooperation of institutional relevance, primarily in the field of education. The Unit also manages international campuses of institutional significance, coordinating specific activities in connection with other University Offices (particularly STUDI and PEPS Departments) and superivising actions aimed at expanding existing collaborations.
International Relations unit
The Unit carries out the following activities: it manages international networks and the UNITE! Alliance, also serving as a channel for promoting the Politecnico globally, and disseminates its internal value within the University by engaging the appropriate resources by area of expertise. It handles the management of incoming delegations of institutional relevance and provides support in preparing Governance missions to target countries.The Unit drafts and manages institutional Memoranda of Understanding and international mobility agreements, including double degrees, non-EU exchanges, and new models for joint and short programs. The Unit also manages institutional Hubs and Competence Centers (such as the Japan Hub and China Centre), supervising specific projects aimed at the internationalization of education and research. These activities are carried out in collaboration with other University Offices (particularly STUDI, RIMIN, and SAIL Departments), facilitating relations and communications with local institutions, administrations, and businesses for activities based in both Italy and the target countries.
Domain Expert China Affairs
He coordinates initiatives and actions “with our partners in China", in cooperation with Departments for implementation aspects by area of competence.
Domain Expert Networks
A liaison figure for activities related to cross-cutting international networks or those in the educational field, whose role is to promote the enhancement of development opportunities and the internal dissemination within the University of the international culture they offer.
Domain Expert International Educational Agreements
She manages the definition of strategic agreements of institutional relevance, in particular framework agreements, international mobility agreements for students and staff, double degrees, joint degrees and reference for Collegi/Departments in the negotiation, in collaboration with STUDI Department.
