IT Applications Division

He is responsible for the compliance of the applications for Student Administrative Services and University Registrar in accordance with national regulations and standards. He implements the business rules governing the various aspects of students' careers, by liaising with the administrative departments involved (STUDI, RIMIN, PIFIC). He deals with the procedures which implement the exchange of data with third parties (Edisu, Inps, MEF, AGID, MUR). He actively collaborates with the STARQ Office for the creation of data warehouses and Business Intelligence tools using teaching data.

He supervises requirements check, data design, functional analysis and second-level help desk operations for ICT systems for teaching and learning, with reference to an on-premise development and maintenance view cycle. He coordinates all activities related to the Educational Information Systems.

He coordinates and manages e-learning projects, designing and implementing digital teaching platforms and tools. He plans and supervises the entire life cycle of the project, coordinating resources and monitoring activities. He collaborates with teachers and academic institutions to analyse training needs and optimime teaching processes, promoting the adoption of innovative technologies and advanced teaching methodologies. He provides training and support to e-learning platforms users. He manages the communication and information dissemination of e-learning projects and services offered to students and teachers.He coordinates all activities related to the distance learning field.

He supervises requirements check, data design, functional analysis and second-level help desk operations of internally developed applications for personnel and financial management, as well as integrations with third-party systems, in particular with Cineca U-GOV. He is in charge of configuration activities and integrations with Cineca products. He coordinates all activities related to information systems in the HR and Finance field.

He supervises and manages DBMSs and application servers based on Microsof technologies. He is the contact person for the integration between the University's applications and Microsoft365 cloud, ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability of the combined solutions. Additionally, He provides technical support and training for the effective adoption of these solutions.

He supervises requirements check data design, functional analysis and second-level help desk operations of applications for library management, research evaluation support and IRIS system management, with reference to third-party application solutions. He is in charge of Open Data and Open Access activities. He coordinates all activities related to Research and Library information systems.
