The Bachelor’s degree programme in Mathematics for Engineering presents transversal features and aims at training a professional who is able to find a job in a wide range of industrial sectors, in the service sector or in applied research.
Apart from solid mathematical and statistical skills, you will acquire additional knowledge in physics, engineering and computer science fields. Thus, you will gain the ability to develop theoretical models and processing data inferred from experiments or big data. This will help you to identify the most appropriate mathematical model for deal with industrial processes, natural phenomena, social and economic systems. You will use this knowledge to analyze and simulate systems, identifying the right solution for design and management issues.
The Bachelor's degree programme in Mathematics for Engineering, normallly followed by a Master's degree in Mathematics Engineering, aims at providing a flexible and rigorous education, which will make you take the most of your problem solving skills within an evolving working environment.
