The Xi’an Jiaotong University International Summer School 2025 is a two-week academic program designed for international students in the fields of engineering and technology. Open to undergraduate ad graduate students, the program combines advanced coursework, field visits, and cultural experiences in the heart of China.
Participants can choose among six specialized programs in different engineering disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering (Novel Power Systems and Carbon Neutrality)
- Mechanical Engineering (Advanced Design and Intelligent Manufacturing)
- Materials Science and Engineering (Frontiers in Materials Research)
- Aerospace Engineering (Frontiers of Aerospace and Mechanics)
- Chemical Engineering and Technology (Carbon Neutralization Pathways and Technology)
- Electronic and Information Engineering (Frontiers in AI, Information Processing, Wireless Networking, Electronic Materials, and Life Science)
Participants will engage in hands-on learning, academic lectures, and industry tours across these six engineering disciplines. Courses are taught by leading faculty and professionals, and sessions include visits to state-of-the-art laboratories and top companies in Xi’an.
This learning experience also offers excursions to historic sites such as the Terra-Cotta Warriors, offering a deep dive into Chinese culture and heritage while expanding students’ scientific knowledge.
Program dates (choose from three sessions):
Session 1: July 6 – July 19, 2025
Session 2: July 20 – August 2, 2025
Session 3: August 24 – September 6, 2025
Cost:
Tuition, accommodation, meals, local transportation, and field visits are fully covered for students from partner universities. Participants must arrange and cover their own travel and insurance.
