Workers

According to Legislative Decree 81/08, the following individuals are considered as Workers of PoliTo:

  • teaching staff, researchers, technicians, and administrative staff employed by PoliTo;
  • research fellows;
  • students working at thier thesis projects, doctoral students, research grant receipients, when attending educational or research laboratories, and due to the specific activity carried out, are exposed to risk;
  • workers who are not officially on the staff of PoliTo but are engaged by PoliTo through specific and regular contracts (for example, project-based workers, interns);
  • personnel belonging to other organizations, both public and private (for example: C.N.R, I.N.F.N.), who work in university premises under specific agreements and conventions;
  • Students, limited to the period during which they operate at research or service teaching laboratories.

Summary of personnel compliance

The personnel who can assume the role of worker regarding health and safety issues must comply with the provisions of Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent modifications, particularly concerning mandatory training and risk assessment related to their duties.
