Biography

Sofia received the M.Sc. degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering in 2020 from Politecnico di Torino (Italy), where she is a currently a PhD student in Energetics in MAHTEP Group. Her research activity is based on the development of multiphisycs numerical models for normal and off-normal operations for high temperature superconducting component, from thermal and electromagnetic point of view. She spent my second PhD year at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, California, USA, where she became familiar with CORC-like cable for accelerator applications.
