Horizon 2020 has been a major European Union funding program for research and innovation.  With a budget of nearly 80 billion euros for 7 years (2014 to 2020), it supported research projects and actions aimed at scientific and technological innovation, including transferring big ideas from the laboratory to the market.

The AMBEATion project aims to use Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Modeling techniques in order to extend automation from digital to analog design.

ALTERNATIVE

The ALTERNATIVE project will develop a platform for assessing the cardiotoxicity of chemicals or pharmaceuticals, single and in mixtures. This platform will be based on an in vitro cardiac tissue model coupled with a multi-omics analysis system and integrated with artificial intelligence risk assessment algorithms.

A key to mimic nature and drive therapeutic nanoparticles.
A project dedicated to studying and understanding how extracellular vesicles recognize and reach their targets in the case of cancer metastasis, to be inspired by this mechanism and treat a rare metabolic disease of bone.

The PARENT project will use a multidisciplinary approach to develop a platform to support early diagnosis of motor and cognitive problems in premature infants. The goal will be achieved with input from a large European network of research groups, industry partners, children's hospitals and patient family associations.
