Biography

I received the BSc degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Università di Bologna and the MSc degree in Digital Media from Politecnico di Torino. During my studies, I have spent one semester as an Erasmus student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. I am currently a PhD student at the Politecnico di Torino's Computer Graphics and Vision research group, under the supervision of prof. Andrea Bottino. My research primarily focuses on the improvement of serious games' effectiveness employing both new technologies, virtual and augmented reality, and novel design frameworks. These studies are also conducted under the lens of human-computer interaction and collaboration within multi-user scenarios. During my research activities, I successfully collaborated with various research groups, even from different fields and academic institutions like the Università del Piemonte Orientale and the University of Huddersfield, UK. Throughout the years at the Politecnico di Torino, I have contributed to the management of European Funded Projects as well as activities financed by either private associations or companies. Before and during my PhD, I have supported several teaching activities in the courses of virtual and augmented reality, computer graphics and game design.
