Biography

Alberto Brandl earned his BS and Master Degree in Aerospace engineering at the Politecnico di Torino with a Master Thesis on stochastic and deterministic modeling of noise and nonlinearities of sensors. He is currently a PhD Student under the supervision of Prof. Manuela Battipede and Prof. Piero Gili. His current work concerns the practical implementation of soft-computing techniques as Artificial Neural Network and virtual sensors for air data systems. The research activity is applied in a CleanSky 2 project with the final aim of developing a fully-integrated probe for Small Air Transportation. In the past, he published on multi-sensor data fusion techniques for remote tracking objects.
