The Mentoring Project supports faculty members in their teaching activities by sharing teaching practices and strengthening the teaching community of our University.
Within this project, a group of faculty members (mentors), who have been trained by pedagogical experts in previous years, are available to work with colleagues (mentees) who wish to exchange experiences, share ideas, or be guided in the implementation of innovative teaching practices.
Mentees normally follow this pathway:
- The mentee identifies a question, problem or project related to his/her teaching that he/she wish to discuss with the mentor colleagues.
- The TLlab invites interested participants to join the project (twice a year, in January and September) and the mentee responds to the call for participation.
- The TLlab forms a mentoring unit composed of two or three faculty members.
- The mentee and the mentoring unit meet; the unit gets to know the mentee and takes on his/her request.
- The mentoring unit carries out two classroom observations. At the end of the second observation, they meet the students.
- The mentoring unit and the mentee meet to discuss the proposals prepared by the mentors and sign an improvement agreement based on the initial request submitted by the mentee.
Apply to join the project as a mentee by clicking the button below by 10 September.

Faculty members who take part in this project have already developed relevant competencies through basic training and through significant experience gained in their own courses.
The preparation phase combines targeted training with hands-on experience in the mentoring role. The pathway supports participants in gradually taking on this new role by exploring and sharing approaches, responsibilities, values, and tools for peer support, and by fostering shared reflection within mentoring units.
M2P 2025–26 starts on 15 October 2025.
