Edvance is the first Digital Education Hub for higher education dedicated to the development of advanced digital skills in Italy. The project, coordinated by Politecnico di Milano, is funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 4 "Education and Research", and involves the participation of 16 of the best Italian universities and AFAM institutions.
Edvance is a digital ecosystem that integrates the educational offerings of all partner institutions and aims to support students, teachers and workers in developing advanced digital skills, in collaboration with the business world.
The project focuses on the production of high-quality Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and on blended learning, combining online and in-person education to redefine the standards of digital education.
- Over 200 MOOCs covering topics such as artificial intelligence, data management, digital sustainability and transdisciplinarity.
- Free access to courses, open to everyone. Those with an account from Politecnico di Torino or another participating university can log in using their institutional credentials. Alternatively, SPID or CIE can be used.
- Open Badges to certify acquired skills, awarded upon completion of each course.
- Development of blended learning methodologies in teaching.
