Workshop
Elena Todella, Marika Gaballo and Beatrice Mecca are pleased to inform you about our workshop on “Assessing Urban Sustainability – ASUS2023” organized for the 23rd International Conference on Computational Science and its Applications (ICSSA 2023).
The session is available in the workshop list and discusses the role that measurement and evaluation can play in developing policies that make our cities more sustainable. First, it aims to develop a critical reflection on current practices in pursuing urban sustainability. Secondly, it proposes to analyse measurement and evaluation tools, methodologies and processes to support the construction and assessment of sustainable urban policies. The Conference will take place at the National Technical University and the University of the Aegean, in Athens, on July 3rd-6th 2023.
Accepted papers will be published and included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series and indexed by Scopus and other indexing services.
We are happy to invite you to submit your contribution and to forward this invitation to colleagues who might be interested.
The conference will be held both in presence and in virtual mode, as specified at this link.

Submission generally takes place in two steps, with the submission of an abstract and then the paper. Instructions for authors can be found here.
