Biography

Francesco Marzola was born in Ferrara, Italy. He received his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 2019 with the thesis “Ultrasound-based artery wall biomarkers measurement using a dual snake and their role in cardiovascular risk assessment models”. He worked as Researcher under grant from October 2019 to June 2020 at Politecnico di Torino. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of Politecnico di Torino, Italy. His research activity is mainly focused on image processing with attention on deep-learning applications for the segmentation and synthesis of images, particularly in ultrasonography.
