When structuring the curricula for both paths, we paid particular attention to including innovative teachings aimed at the latest trends such as cryptography, reduced order models, mathematics for artificial intelligence and machine learning, and biomathematics.
Mathematical Models and Numerical Simulations You will gain the ability to understand an engineering problem, formalize it through appropriate mathematical models, and study it both from a theoretical and analytical perspective, as well as from a numerical perspective.
Statistics and Optimization on Data and Networks You will learn advanced statistical and optimization methods for data processing, to correctly apply inductive inference methods in the presence of scarce or abundant data (big data) on various structures - such as networks - and to make decisions under uncertainty.
Other Paths At the following link, you will find some suggested career plans to tailor the main paths according to your interests and aptitudes.
Please note: each cohort (i.e., each year of enrollment) has a dedicated proposal.
