A Grassroots Response to Ecosystem Challenges: The Adventures of Via Calandra | Led by Natalie Lithwick

In today’s quest for new paradigms to address the climate crisis, community action can be a powerful tool. This workshop will present the unusual case of “Vivere (in) via Calandra”, a local grassroots initiative seeking to turn a small street into a dynamic urban ecosystem.
Following a brief presentation, we will probe the notion of active citizenship, investigate some of the project’s aspirations and challenges, co-design solutions, and experience the potential impact of multi-voiced thinking.

Led by Natalie Lithwick, a performance artist devoted to communication across several modes.

Workshop organized by professor Mesut Dinler in the scope of the course ‘’History of architecture and cities Lab B’’.

Participation is limited to 15 external students, in addition to those enrolled in the course.
