Unite! Visiting Professorship Programme at TU Darmstadt
The call is now open to participate in the Unite! Visiting Professorship Programme at Technische Universität Darmstadt, within the framework of the Unite! alliance.
The programme aims to attract high-profile international scholars from Unite! partner universities, promoting interdisciplinary teaching and methodological innovation through teaching experiences in an international context.
The initiative is open to all disciplines at TU Darmstadt and involves visiting professors contributing to the academic offer through additional or elective courses, introducing innovative topics and fostering academic exchange among the universities of the alliance.
The programme is primarily addressed to postdoctoral researchers, but it is also open to lecturers and professors at a more advanced stage of their academic careers affiliated with Unite! universities.
The visiting professorships will take place during the winter semester 2026/2027 or the summer semester 2027, with full-time appointments lasting approximately six months.
To apply, interested candidates are invited to identify a host department at TU Darmstadt and establish direct contact with it, or with the local Unite! team, in order to initiate the application process. The host departments will then formalize the proposal through a short application.
The application deadline is 15 May 2026.
