Women in Mathematics Day 2026
On the occasion of the International Women in Mathematics Day, Politecnico di Torino, the University of Turin, the Department of Mathematical Sciences-DISMA at Politecnico di Torino, and European Women in Mathematics are organising an event dedicated to addressing the gender gap in STEM disciplines. The event will take place on 12 May 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
The programme will include talks by experts, a poster session, and a roundtable discussion with women mathematicians active in both academic and professional contexts, with the aim of fostering dialogue and sharing experiences and best practices.
The event will feature talks focusing on the gender gap in academia, with particular emphasis on STEM fields, by the following speakers:
