STMicroelectronics Day

STMicroelectronics, a global leader in the semiconductor industry, will be at Politecnico di Torino to meet students from different academic backgrounds, present its technologies, and share its commitment to innovation and sustainability.
The event is open to Bachelor’s and Master’s students and PhD candidates in engineering and scientific fields and will be held in English.
The event will take place on 12 May 2026, from 14:00 to 18:30.

The company will also present a series of interactive demonstrations designed to showcase ST innovation.
These include:
  • Presence Detection and Touchless Control, highlighting how intelligent sensing can create smarter, more comfortable, and more energy-efficient environments through intuitive gesture-based interaction.
  • Robotic Hand, which transforms human movement into precise AI-driven actions, offering an engaging demonstration of future human–machine interaction.
  • ST AIoT Craft, enabling participants to explore the potential of advanced edge AI embedded in smart sensors, opening up new possibilities in connected intelligence.
To complete the experience, a Virtual Tour of one of STMicroelectronics’ manufacturing sites will allow participants to virtually enter a high-tech fab and discover the world of microelectronics behind the technologies we use every day.
At the end of the event, the company will present several job and internship opportunities.
