Unite! Doctoral Event

The event is designed for those who wish to pursue a career in research after their Master’s. It is a joint event across all Unite! universities, offering the opportunity to connect with researchers and learn about their PhD journeys.
The Unite! PhD event will take place on 21 April 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Programme

Part 1 | Joint Unite! Session
The event will open with a welcome speech by professor Ignasi Casanova (UPC): “Why pursue a Unite! PhD?”. This will be followed by interactive discussions with PhD candidates and research staff from various academic fields across the nine partner universities, who will share their first-hand experiences.
Part 2 | University-Specific Sessions
In the second hour, participants will be able to join parallel sessions hosted by each of the nine Unite! universities to learn about the PhD opportunities offered by each institution.
