Networking and mentoring for administrative staff
Universities are complex, continuously growing and evolving organisations. For this reason, administrative staff rely heavily on up-to-date information and strong support networks to effectively manage emerging tasks.
Heidi Rossmann and Anja Spangenberg (TU Darmstadt) founded SekretariaNet and, over more than fifteen years, have developed it into a vital support structure. They would like to share their experience on how to motivate colleagues, identify effective starting points, and sustain a network over time without overburdening the most committed members.
The Unite! Networking Hub is hosting a dedicated session on “Networking and Mentoring for Administrative Staff” on 24 February 2026, from 13:00 to 14:00 CET.
The event will be held in English and is specifically addressed to administrative staff across the Unite! alliance and partner institutions.
The session will be led by Heidi Rossmann and Anja Spangenberg from TU Darmstadt.
