EU-Italy Energy Days | New Actions to Ensure and Strengthen our Energy Transition
At a critical moment for Europe’s energy and industrial future, policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and international experts will gather in Turin for the EU–Italy Energy Days 2026, the 3rd International Symposium dedicated to energy transition, competitiveness, and innovation. The event will take place on 29-30 January 2026 and comes shortly before the release of the European Commission’s forthcoming Energy & Climate Package 2040, which will define the EU’s long-term strategy for decarbonisation and energy security.
Italy plays a strategic role thanks to the strength of its manufacturing base, advanced energy infrastructure, and recognised excellence in research. The EU–Italy Energy Days will therefore serve as a high-level platform to discuss concrete policy actions, emerging technologies, and new skills needed to ensure a resilient, competitive, and inclusive energy transition.
The EU–Italy Energy Days 2026 aim to contribute concrete policy insights and strategic guidance to Europe’s path towards climate neutrality, while reinforcing industrial competitiveness and social cohesion.
The event will take place over two days:
1. Day 1
The event is organised by Politecnico di Torino, with the support of Italian and European institutions.
