First Workshop on Multilingualism and Multiculturalism
Multilingualism and multiculturalism are not just requirements for Unite! joint programmes — they are central to creating high-quality, inclusive learning environments that foster global competence.
How can you design a programme that helps students build the core competences they need to thrive in multilingual, multicultural teams?
How can you create a genuinely inclusive, globally engaged classroom across diverse institutions and backgrounds?
And how can you achieve this without needing to become an expert in language or intercultural studies?
The event is titled "Leveraging Multilingualism and Multiculturalism in Joint Programmes: A Hands-On Workshop" and it is dedicated to teachers, administrative and technical staff, all faculty & staff.
It will be held online on Friday 16 May 2025 from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at this link.
This 60-minute workshop is for anyone involved in designing or teaching Unite! joint programmes, whether you are shaping the curriculum, coordinating delivery across partners, or leading a single course. It shows how the principles of Unite! ’s multilingualism and multiculturalism (M&M) policy can be translated into practical, meaningful choices in programme and course design.
