OB-SERVING THE LANDSCAPES | By Petites Folies School
OB-SERVING THE LANDSCAPES is an Erasmus+ BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) promoted and supported by Politecnico di Torino, coordinated by professor Massimo Crotti with tutoring of Camilla Forina, Giorgia Greco, and Ilaria Tonti of the Department of Architecture and Design-DAD, in collaboration with professor Paolo Sustersic - Elisava, School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona, with professor Anne Bugugnani - Strate, School of Design of Paris, with the architect Emanuele Piccardo of the plug_in Cultural Association, and with the self-construction coordinator of GRRIZ architectural studio (Luigi Greco e Mattia Paco Rizzi).
The activities of "Self-construction of micro architectures and landscape photographic narratives workshops in the Tanaro Valley, Ormea - Cuneo" will involve 35 students from Politecnico di Torino, Elisava - School of Design and Engineering and Strate, School of Design in Paris.
After 4 educational webinars, 2 on-site workshops will take place in Ormea from the 11th to the 18th of May:

After 4 educational webinars, 2 on-site workshops will take place in Ormea from the 11th to the 18th of May:
- workshop 1 | “Riabitare il bosco”: a micro architecture self-construction workshop of a belvedere bivouac in the Borgata Biranco, along the Ormea balcony trail. Will be built with the design, technical support, and coordination of GRRIZ architectural studio [Lyon].
- workshop 2 | “Qui non c’è il mare”: a photographic landscape narration with the scientific and teaching support of DAD Polito and arch. Emanuele Piccardo of the plug_in cultural association.

- 13 May 2024 at 7,00 pm | Architecture and communities - Lecture by Valeria Cottino at the former Elementary Schools
- 14 May 2024 at 7,00 pm | Architectures by Officina82 - Lecture by Lara Sappa, Fabio Revetria at the former Schools
- 18 May 2024 at 10,00 am | Riabitare il Bosco - inauguration of the shelter at Biranco Hamlet, loc. Quarzina
- 18 May 2024 at 11,30 am | Qui non c’è il mare - opening of the exhibition at the former Railway Deposit, Ormea | It will be accessible until 15/09/2024.
