Research topics

  • Experimental activity and theoretical modelling on the electrical performance and on any defects (mechanical, thermal, electrical ones) of photovoltaic generators. Installation planning of photovoltaic generators and wind turbines in the world according to the electrical consumption and the resources of sun and wind with the use of sun and wind forecasting techniques (application for the Italian transmission grid of Terna SpA).. Photovoltaic generators for NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Buildings) within the framework of energy communities: analysis of power and economic exchanges for an optimal management at global level.
