How can communities be ensured access to renewable, safe, and increasingly efficient energy? What infrastructures must be developed or reinforced to make cities more sustainable? Addressing today’s energy and environmental challenges requires a comprehensive approach that considers the interaction among key stakeholders—policy makers, institutions, research centers, and consumers. In this context, the EC-L – Energy Center Lab, part of Politecnico di Torino’s Energy Initiative, supports decision-making processes for emerging energy solutions. The Center is a multidisciplinary research group that shares expertise and collaborates in laboratory settings to develop integrated technologies and systems for more responsible use of resources.
Goals
- Turn energy challenges into opportunities for societal development
- Promote a low-impact energy mix to support systemic change
