Survey on the implementation of The European Charter for Researchers at PoliTo

In 2023 we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the awarding of the HR Excellence in Research Award to Politecnico di Torino for its actual implementation of the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

The design of the University's strategies according to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers has always been a participation process and, in order to gather comments and indications from the whole scientific community, a survey is available until 30 September 2023 to evaluate how Researchers feel about the implementation of the principles of the European Charter at Politecnico di Torino (the personal link to the survey is in the email sent by the Vice Rector for Quality, Welfare and Equal Opportunities on 19/9/2023 and 25/9/2023 reminder).

During these 10 years, Politecnico di Torino has implemented an array of new initiatives for researchers, including supervision support initiatives, the establishment of the Researcher Ombudsperson, the adoption of the Regulations of the Research Ethics and the appointment of a Research Ethics Committee, on-boarding meetings, new coaching and career development services as well as transversal skills training for researchers.
