Towards a Climate-Neutral University: The Contribution of Energy and Mobility

Politecnico di Torino is reflecting on its role in addressing the climate crisis and on the contribution it can make to the city’s path towards climate neutrality.
The initiative, addressed to all staff members and students, is part of the framework of the Cities Mission Conference 2026, the European conference of the Net Zero Cities initiative hosted by the City of Turin, of which Politecnico di Torino is a partner. The event will provide an opportunity to explore the main actions already undertaken by the University within its campuses, with a particular focus on energy efficiency and sustainable mobility (commuting), and to reflect on what each member of the Politecnico community can concretely do as part of this journey.
The morning session is conceived as a moment for discussion and in-depth exchange, aimed at informing, educating, and engaging the community, raising awareness of current environmental challenges and the solutions already in place, as well as presenting services, tools, and individual and collective actions that can contribute to the University’s ecological transition.

The event may be attended either in person or remotely; registration is required in order to participate, according to the preferred attendance mode:For TAB staff, the course is included among the mandatory training activities.
Members of the Order of Architects may request the recognition of professional training credits through the registration form.
