UNIGHT - European Researchers' Night 2025

Research is a journey made of questions, attempts, insights, and new beginnings: this is how it works, because the future is built by trying.

On September 26 and 27, the European Researchers’ Night 2025 returns to Turin, organized by Politecnico di Torino and the Università di Torino, with the patronage of Città di Torino and Regione Piemonte. The event celebrates not only the achievements of research but, above all, the journey itself: collective, passionate, sometimes uncertain, always surprising.

An immersive experience into the world of research, with more than 350 activities including laboratories, experiments, meetings, exhibitions, talks, prototype presentations, workshops, performances, and games for all ages. The 2025 edition unfolds across seven thematic areas: Climate, Resilience and Energy Transition; Global Health and Social Well-Being; Sustainable Cities and Urban Equity; Natural Resources, Biodiversity and Food Systems; Cultural Heritage: Digital and Social Innovation; Factory of The Future; New Frontiers of Research.

Castello del Valentino, Orto Botanico, the renewed spaces in Viale Mattioli and other venues across the city will host research labs, talks, escape rooms, educational play areas, and scientific insights. The program will also include shows, performances, guided tours of Castello del Valentino and Orto Botanico, and initiatives such as Bibliobus and interactive stands, designed to showcase research through concrete experiences and participatory paths.
UNIGHT 2025 will also involve the cities of Biella, Cuneo, Mondovì, and Savigliano, expanding the network of events and opportunities to engage with science and its protagonists.

The event schedule is as follows:
Friday, September 26: from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am
Saturday, September 27: from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
