Data Center Hardware Hackathon 2025
Organised by Opening Future – a joint project with Intesa Sanpaolo, Google Cloud and TIM Enterprise – is the Data Center Hardware Hackathon, an exclusive half-day event dedicated to university students.
The event will be held on Wednesday 21 May 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni - OGR in Torino.
The participants will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of data centres, testing their technical skills. During the hackathon, the students, divided into teams, will face practical challenges inspired by real problems typical of data centre management. The activities will involve direct intervention on servers, managed switches, fibre optic connections and Linux systems, thus offering a concrete and stimulating training experience.
Participation is reserved for 20 university students aged between 18 and 25, with basic knowledge of computer hardware, networks and Linux, good command of English and the ability to work in a team, as well as an @gmail.com mailbox.
To participate in the free event in Italian, you need to register at this link. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
