Open Science and Research Evaluation Reform
The seminar will introduce the key aspects of the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment and the principles behind the COARA coalition, which was established to promote a reform of research evaluation based on qualitative judgment, supported only by quantitative criteria.
Additionally, several models implementing these principles will be presented, with a particular focus on the experiences of the European Commission, the Netherlands, and Norway.
A special focus will be dedicated to the use of narrative CVs in research assessment.
Federica Cappelluti, Director of the Open Science Studies Center (CsOS), will introduce the main talk by Francesca Di Donato, a researcher in political philosophy at the A. Zampolli Institute of Computational Linguistics (CNR).
Francesca Di Donato is a member of the G7 Open Science working group and co-chair of the Italian national chapter of COARA.

The event, held in Italian, is organized by the Open Science Studies Center and the Library System of the Politecnico di Torino, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino's COARA Working Group.
