Japan Hub's participation in the Emperor's birthday celebration
There are growing institutional opportunities for the Japan Hub to be involved in initiatives aimed at strengthening relations between Italy and Japan.
On February 6th a small delegation from the Politecnico di Torino, led by Vice Rector for Internationalization Alberto Sapora, participated in the event organized by the Japanese Consulate in Milan to celebrate Emperor Naruhito's birthday.
In the presence of universities and political and industrial entities that collaborate between Italy and Japan, Consul Kobayashi Toshiaki gave a speech celebrating the good relations between the two countries and toasted with all guests to the emperor's birthday.
Consul Kobayashi, who was already a guest at the Politecnico during the celebration of the Japan Hub's first year of activity in May 2024, expressed to Vice Rector Sapora his intention to visit Turin once again.
