Ritsumeikan University visits Politecnico di Torino
On September 18th 2023 Prof. Ishida Masayoshi and a group of students from the College of Gastronomy of the Ritsumeikan University visited the Castello del Valentino to talk about food policy and food design.
Michele Bonino, co-Director of the Japan Hub and Claudia Cassatella, member of the Japan Hub board and expert of Food atlas, welcomed the delegates.
Sara Ceraolo and Eleonora Fiore introduced the interuniversity degree course “Sustainable Design for food system” with Università degli studi di Parma. Giorgia Curtabbi talked about food policies and Raffaele Passaro explained about the activities of the Food Design Lab of Polito.
At the end of the visit the Japanese delegation toured the Castello del Valentino under the guidance of an architect.
