Biography

Giovanni Amedeo Cirillo received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronic Engineering – in 2016 and 2018 respectively – from Politecnico di Torino, where is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. His research activities mainly focus on technological modelling and architectural design for Quantum Computing. In particular, he is working on the development of simulation infrastructures for the comparison of the contemporary Noise Intermediate Scale Quantum (NISQ) Computing technologies and on the definition of efficient quantum circuit transpiling procedures for the quantum circuits/algorithms to be applied on real hardware.
