Awards and Honors

  • The award is "Antonio Picariello Best Student Opponent" - I received it at the conference "22nd IEEE International Symposium on Multimedia (ISM 2020)". In the session where the best student papers were presented, each contestant was assigned a paper that we had to read beforehand and then during the session, in a time frame of 5 minutes, we had to describe the paper in short and list a few strong points and a few weak points of the paper - we were the papers' opponents. It was like doing a review / a critical analysis of the paper. The winner was the one who gave the most mature analysis. (2020)
