Biography

Muhammad Abeer Irfan has received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering at University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan in 2008 with the research thesis “Design and Implementation of License Plate Recognition System on BF 537”. In September 2009, he has been appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering at Kohat University of Science and Technology, Kohat, Pakistan.
In August 2013, he has completed his Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering at University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan. His research topic was “Image super resolution using sparse representation”.
Since November 2017, he is a PhD student in Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering working under the supervision of Prof. Enrico Magli. His research activity is focused on image processing, and in particularly he is developing algorithms for 3D point cloud denoising using Graphs.
