Biography

Ms. Duo Li is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Torino, Italy. She received her bachelor's and master’s degrees in accounting from Beijing Institute of Technology, China in 2006 and Remin University of China in 2011, respectively. She started her professional career in 2006 at China Electric Power Research Institute (owned by State Grid Corporation of China), Beijing as an accounting specialist. In 2014, she jointed Global Energy Interconnection Research Institute Europe GmbH (owned by SGCC), Germany and worked in the position of CFO from 2015 to 2017. Ms. Li has authored or co-authored over 5 papers in reputable international journals. Her research interests include asset management, energy interconnection, electric network planning, etc. She is also a Senior Professional Accountant certified by the Ministry of Human and Social Affairs of China, and meanwhile, an associate researcher with the China Electric Power Research Institute.
