Biography

Caner Savas received his BSc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2011 and his MSc degree in the field of Telecommunications in 2014 from Middle East Technical University, Turkey. He worked on different companies as well as a navigation and radar systems engineer. He has been involved in software and hardware implementations of both navigation and radar systems. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Polytechnic of Turin within the Navigation Signal Analysis and Simulation (NavSAS) research group. His research is focused on the implementation of a carrier-based GNSS receiver software .

Awards and Honors

  • At ESA/JRC International Summer School on GNSS 2018 training, the achievement of the 3rd place in the group project competition with the proposal of suggesting a navigation solution for the elderly people in terms of care concept. (2018)
