Biography

Federico Barra holds a Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering, gained at Politecnico di Torino in July 2018. He is a PhD Student in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Torino since November 2018 and Research Assistant in the Flight Mechanics and Flight Control Systems Research Group at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). He conducts research activities in the field of Flight Mechanics, Flight Simulation and Aircraft Design concerning innovative Hybrid Electric, Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) vehicles. He is a student member of AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics), VFS (Vertical Flight Society) and RAeS (Royal Aeronautical Society)
